His body went rigid with hesitance, and he then finally reached across his body to pull up his sleeve. The blood-red runes pulsed around the base edges of his arm, and they seemed to have a sickly glow. Faheem knew it looked bad, but he also felt there was no point in telling anyone about it because there was no cure.
Esme looked to him, following his hand to his arm. She gasped a little at the sight, it looked so sick... She looked to Faheem, then his arm, moving over to that side. "Oh Faheem..." She regretted leaving now, she should have stayed... But because she left she had become so strong with her healing, she would help him... She had to help him.
