Snuggled up in his bed of cushions and blankets, Falli stroking his hair and humming, then singing in such a soft voice, to lull him gently back to sleep. Then with the slamming of the stone door his illusion was shattered like the glass of a mirror, thrown from the bliss into horror head first. His eyes flew open, heart pounding in his chest as he jumped up and cowered back, staring into the hateful red eyes of Rensik. Cold, spiteful laughter made him cringe and shuffle back, shivering and tearing his eyes from Rensik begging with the world to take him away from this place.
